|Recommended: YesPerfect place to call home — Modera Lofts is not just a place to live but also a community with a supportive staff and network despite rent being on the higher end. The leasing, management and building staff are always ready and equipped to assist with any situation, making it feel more like home than other apartments around the area. I would certainly recommend staying here for first time renters or home seekers

|Recommended: YesModera is Worth It — Overall we love living at The Modera Lofts. The building is very clean and the staff in super friendly. Yes you will likely hear your neighbors...the walls are thin between units. But we never hear from above or below. The maintenance team is great and they respond immediately to any concerns - shout out to Sergio Drogo. The one area for improvement is the parking valet system. It is often understaffed and we have had to wait up to 25 minutes to get our vehicle. Also there should be an option to opt out of the Trash Valet . We live right next door to the trash room and it seems ridiculous to leave out our trash when we can just put it where it belongs.

|Recommended: YesFull of Character in its original beauty — It feels like home. I love the space, the open feeling of the common areas, and the cleanliness of the property. The events hosted are unique and fun. The quality of the building materials, appliances and fixtures, far exceeds any property in the area. And the maintenance team is personable and professional. Everyone seems as if they love working here. Coming home is always a joy

-the building has character and wow factor aside from all the other surrounding buildings

|Recommended: YesGreat place to live especially for families and couples — I've lived in Modera Lofts for 6 months and I've never been happier. The building's amenities are great especially the amazing rooftop and the building itself is always so clean and well kept. The staff is extremely helpful, friendly and responsive to any issue or problem that arises. The apartments are very spacious and I never have a problem with the noise level. Overall, it is great living conditions and also a perfect atmosphere for families. I would recommend Modera Lofts to anyone looking to move to the Jersey City area

|Recommended: YesRecommended rental property but with some setbacks — Modera is a recommended property and I will and already have recommend friends to consider Modera when they are moving out to Jersey City. However I always tell them there is a caveat, in fact a couple. The residents at Modera with pets are inconsiderate, Modera elevator banks and common shared areas always stink of dog pee and a lot of the times, the pet owners leave pet pukes without being responsible and cleaning up after their pets.
In addition, there is one horribly obnoxious and inconsiderate couple, Mike and Amanda from the 3rd floor, who visit the shared fitness center for their obnoxious PDA and loud conversations. Guess how I know their names and where they live - because they share it with the entire world. I have complained about them to the manager, Jeff, with who has so far done nothing and the couple continues to be a nuisance. In all my rental periods in NJ and NY, I have never come across these type of people and quite amazed how ignorant the management can be towards obnoxious residents. At least put up a sign that this is shared area with kids running around as well. Management does nothing and turns a blind eye.
Noise proof is non-existent. I can hear conversations of my neighbors way too clearly. I hear their movies, their music, their dogs barking and their babies crying.
As for the pros, maintenance team is great. I've seen them go around the grounds and building property, always so nice to people. I also like the recent shake up in front desk team, Chris is so nice.
