|Recommended: YesWonderful Community — Modera has a wonderful community here. With all the new development high-rise buildings, this place really has a low key family friendly feel to it. I've personally not had one issue in 2 years of being here. Everyone, and I mean everyone, from property manager, front desk attendance, and the new package room services team are friendly, helpful and kind.
Living here is a unique experience with the loft style units. The amenities are just about everything you would need - gym, workspaces, roof deck with dog-friendly accommodations and a central location to grocery shopping, transport, downtown restaurants, conveniences such as a CVS, with staple local spots like Maggie's Farm.

|Recommended: YesI have lived in Modera Lofts for almost a year now. We have liked the place but the what separates this building from others is the staff. The staff who works the front desk and package delivery are always very nice and are happy to go above and beyond, especially Valerie. We have also had Manny help us a couple times with maintenance requests and he is always very friendly and ready to help with whatever is going on. Great guy

|Recommended: NoLiving at Modera Lofts for nearly three years had its ups and downs. The prime location, friendly and wonderful front desk staff, and cool rooftop were some highlights. However, the leasing office was consistently terrible and unreliable, making it difficult to deal with rate hikes and renewals. Asking for 20-30 rent increases year after year is unconscionable. Most units have thin walls resulting in constant noise, while lack of sunlight and falling bricks add to the issues. The new lock system doesn't work consistently, making it frustrating. Considering the price, size, and headaches caused by the leasing office, there are better options in Jersey City. It's worth noting that recent positive reviews may be due to a push to attract new tenants, so it's best to ask current residents about their experiences.

|Recommended: YesNeed to remind elderly to bring certified check — I think it would be nice to remind elderly relatives of prospective tenants to bring a certified check on the day they want to get the keys to the apartment.
|Recommended: NoModera has been a disappointment — I've lived here at Modern for over a year, and issues with the building continue to make it a hassle to stay here. Be it broken door locks happening since they installed the new locks, to incompetent concierge service.
About 2 weeks ago the concierge asked me if I was Uber Eats, and that's the second time this has happened. They see a person of color with bags and immediately assume we're delivering something I love my apartment, but would not, and will not, recommend anyone to live here.

|Recommended: YesSo far so good — I recently moved into Modera lofts and so far the experience has been pretty good The staff have been super friendly and willing to help with anything that’s come up. Overall the common areas are kept well and are really nice.
As with any building been some small things that could be improved 1. Living on the top 8th floor means dealing with sporadic debris falling from the wood ceiling panels when the roof is in use 2. Some small parts of the units could use some touching up e.g. light switches not being flush 3. The building would benefit from an extra elevator or two. Nonetheless, each building has its pros and cons and none of these items are things that would make me reconsider living here. Would recommend
